So two days ago a Ganguro picture was posted on the Cherry Gal FB group page that got everyone talking about wanting to do Ganguro, but how we were all too chicken to actually go it (or at least I was too chicken) XD! We all agreed it looks super fun to do and that led to us pulling on our brave girl heels and agreeing to having a Meet at Dunobaby dressed in Ganguro :O!
The reactions were as followed:
Ganguro Meet!
To Dye or Not to Dye? {3/2/11}
OMG Update! {2/12/11}
Omg, wow! I haven't updated this thing in forever! I think that's owed to the Livejournal I started, but I hardly update that thing too. I want to get into the habit of updating this thing, I really do! I think I'm just going to make this blog a "Me" blog and put stuff about Gyaru, Cosplay, and life in general. I think I'll use it more if I do that.
SO! This is just an update on how all of those things are going. I'll start off with Cosplay since that's the only thing I'm really good at planning XD! For Oni-Con 2011 (Or which ever con we decide to go to in the Fall) I'm planning on Cosplaying as Ciel Phantomhive from the second season on Kuroshitsuji. I absolutely LOVE Kuroshitsuji! It's crazy how much it's blown up over the last couple of months, when I had found it no one knew anything about it! Now it's like the new Death Note or whatever. It took me forever to find pictures of Ciel's regular outfit, Google kept giving me outfits he'd only worn like once or outfits that were featured in chapter pictures! Luke is going to be cosplaying Kuroshitsuji with me (Of course) as Alois Trancy. I think we'll rock these cosplays! I'm super excited! I just have to get my sewing machine from my mom's and set it up in the apartment.
And get a new dining room table, because the one we have is waaaay too big and we can't work on cosplays with it in the apartment XD!
In the Gyaru world I've been kind of lacking D:. It's been forever since I've gone to a meet. They're just always so far out or I have no money or I can't get off of work that day. It really sucks, because I miss all of my gal pals D:! I don't think I'll be able to make it to this next meet like I planned because of financial reasons and because it was originally going to be on the 26th, so we requested off for that day. But now it's been moved to the 19th. :/. Hopefully there will be another meet up in the near future. I had this really cute outfit planned out. I was either going to try and pull off the new Retro Gal look, but I really wanted to do a romantic victorian twist on the Hime look with deeper colors, less pastels and pinks. I'll just have to keep those outfits in my closet until the next meet up.
LIFE! I don't really know what to say about life other than that it is just life. I've had my up's and down's, like everyone else, but that's just how it goes. There have been some personal changes in my life, but nothing that I don't think I can handle. I'm trying to get more involved in life! I guess that's some sort of an update! XD! I want to have more experiences in my life, so I've been trying to put myself out there more instead of just sitting at home being safe and bored. I've decided on the Uni I want to transfer too, as well. University of Southern California. I'm still kind of undecided on my major, though :/. But I've decided that once I get in that I want to join a Sorority :D Alpha Phi is my top choice so far! It's a Sorority of girls who are big about being proper ladies, not crazies who go out and party all the time and get drunk! That's totes not me. I'm excited for Uni life to begin, even if it is a year or so away.

Oh, what to say? {8/13/10}
Welcome to my blog! I'm quite proud of it, too! It took me forever to figure out how to edit everything on Blogger, I've only ever edited Myspace profiles XD! I'm sure it's look will change as time does, but for now I'm happy with it.
I started this blog mainly because I'm in a Gyaru Circle called Cherry Gals! To rank up and be critiqued you needed a blog or a site where you post your Gyaru pictures, so here's mine! I'm still new to the Gyaru style, but I had a lot of fun getting all dressed up for the first meeting and would love to continue to explore the styles of the Gyaru world~! I think this blog will be a great learning (and fun!) tool for me.
I've decided to not just use this blog for Gyaru things (although most of the posts will be Gal related) but for myself as well. I'll be sure to mark all posts not Gal related as so, that way you guys can just skip over that stuff if you want to.
I'm super excited about getting started! I've been contemplating on what my first style update should be and I think it's going to be a make-up update! I LOVE make-up, I own so much of it but I still continue to buy more and more! At the moment I think most of my updates will be make-up ones because I don't own a lot of Gyaru-esque clothes yet. XD! I kinda grew up as a tom-boy so majority of the clothes I own are jeans and t-shirts XD! But over the past year or so I've done a gradual 180! I used to despise the word "girly" and now I'm loving it! I want to paint my nails, wear frilly skirts, put on lipstick, wear heels, and be stylish! I would've detested all of those things a year ago! Strange, yes? XD!
Anyways, back on the Gal subject, I don't have a set-in-stone style. I'm not just going to wear the Agejo/Ageha style or stick strictly to the Kogal style; I want to be myself within these styles! So if I feel like trying the Hime style one day and then Mode style the next day, I shall do so. It's fun to try new things! X3!
As I was doing my playlist for the blog I looked up some songs from Ayumi Hamasaki on Youtube (because Hypster takes forever to load the songs sometimes) and I was reminded how GORGEOUS she is! I remember reading somewhere that she was one of the idols that started the Gyaru style; I don't know if that's true or not but I think my first style update will be Ayumi inspired! Hence the picture of her in this blog X3! She's so beautiful!
